Concrete introduction
Definition of Concrete: Concrete, abbreviated as “concrete”, is a general term for engineering composite materials that are cemented into a whole by cementitious materials. The term concrete usually refers to cement as a cementitious material, sand and stone as aggregates; mixed with water (which may contain admixtures and additives) in a certain proportion and stirred to obtain cement concrete, also known as ordinary concrete. Concrete is widely used in civil engineering.
Classification of concrete:
(1) According to the mixture: dry hardness/semi-dry hardness/plasticity/fluidity, etc.;
(2) According to the construction process: grouting/spraying/rolling/pumping, etc.;
(3) According to the density of concrete: heavy/ordinary/lightweight;
(4) According to the use function: structure/insulation/decoration/waterproofing/fireproofing/hydraulic engineering/radiation protection;

Mobile concrete batch plant
A mobile concrete batching plant is a mobile concrete production device that can be quickly installed and disassembled at different locations, making it easy to transfer between multiple projects.
The mobile concrete batching plant adopts a modular design, integrating the mixing host, batching system, control system, etc. into the trailer chassis for overall towing and transportation. The folding belt conveyor and screw conveyor occupy a small area when unfolded.
Pre-installed hydraulic legs and adaptive stabilizers support deployment on terrain with a slope of ±5°.
Mobile concrete batch plant is suitable for temporary or remote construction sites, road maintenance and short-term infrastructure projects, as well as customers who frequently change sites or need small batch production.
Stationary concrete batch plant
A stationary concrete batching plant is a concrete production device installed on a fixed foundation, mainly used for long-term, large-scale concrete production. Static concrete batch plants are usually equipped with large-capacity silos, aggregate silos, and twin-shaft or planetary mixers.
Integrated dual-mode control system, using PLC touch screen and physical key operation to improve operator adaptability. Remote monitoring and control based on the Internet of Things can monitor the status of the equipment in real time.
Stationary concrete batching plant is suitable for large precast component plants, commercial concrete plants and water conservancy project sites, infrastructure construction such as highways, bridges, tunnels, etc..
Concrete belt batch plant
Concrete belt batching plant is a fixed concrete batching plant that uses a belt conveyor system for aggregate transportation.
Belt conveyor concrete batching plant Aggregates are transported by a belt conveyor system to ensure smooth, continuous operation and high transportation efficiency. Equipped with a high-precision weighing system, it provides accurate and consistent batching.
Belt type concrete batching plant is suitable for large-scale construction projects such as bridges, towers and high-demand applications.
Concrete hopper batch plant
Concrete hopper batching plant is a fixed concrete batching plant that uses a hopper lifting system for aggregate conveying.The hopper lifting system of the concrete batching plant hopper has a low feeding height and a short overall length of the equipment. The compact design saves space.
It is suitable for construction sites with limited space and small and medium-sized construction projects.
Concrete foundation-free batch plant
Concrete foundation-free batching plant is a kind of batching plant that does not require traditional concrete foundation fixing and adopts modular steel structure frame. The structure does not require traditional concrete foundation fixing and can be directly installed on the flat and compacted ground.
Pre-installed hydraulic legs and adaptive stabilization device support deployment on ±5° slope terrain. Concrete foundation-free batching plant only takes 24 hours from transportation to production.
Foundation free concrete batching plant is suitable for temporary or short-term projects, such as road maintenance and bridge construction.
Dry-mix concrete batch plant
A dry batch concrete plant is a plant that meters and batches all raw materials (cement, sand, aggregates and admixtures) without adding water. Dry batch concrete plants do not have a central mixer, and all raw materials are mixed and watered on the way to the construction site. The structure is simpler and the initial investment is lower.
Dry batch concrete plants are suitable for small and medium-sized buildings, rural or remote areas, and projects that require basic concrete but do not have strict consistency standards.
Components of a concrete batching plants
1. Concrete mixer
(1) Twin-shaft mixer
The twin-shaft concrete mixer is a forced mixing equipment equipped with two horizontal parallel mixing shafts. The twin-shaft mixer transmits power to the mixing shaft through the motor-driven reducer, and the blades on the mixing shaft rotate to force the concrete raw materials to mix. The twin-shaft design of this mixer makes its mixing efficiency high and the mixing effect good, and it can quickly mix the raw materials evenly.
The twin-shaft concrete mixer is mainly used for mixing various powdered materials, that is, to produce various powdered mixing materials. The aggregate of the concrete twin-shaft mixer can be wet fly ash, calcium carbide mud, phosphogypsum, sand and gravel, slag, etc.

(2) Vertical shaft mixer
Vertical shaft mixers are also forced mixing equipment. Their mixing shaft is perpendicular to the mixing drum, and the concrete raw materials are forced to mix through planetary or worm-type mixing devices. This type of mixer is widely used in the mixing of high-performance concrete, high-strength concrete, high-grade concrete, etc.
Common types of vertical shaft mixers are planetary mixers and worm-type mixers.

2. Aggregate weighing system:
(1) Centralized weighing batching machine
The centralized weighing and batching machine of concrete mixing plant is an important equipment for accurate weighing and batching in concrete batching plant. It is used in the concrete production process to accurately weigh and batch various aggregates (such as sand, stone, etc.) according to the set mix ratio.
The centralized weighing and batching machine of concrete mixing plant usually consists of a storage hopper, a weighing system, a conveying system and an electrical control system.

(2) Individual weighing batching machine
The individual weighing and batching machine of concrete mixing plant is a device used in the concrete production process to individually and accurately weigh various aggregates (such as sand, stone, etc.). The individual weighing and batching machine of mixing plant is equipped with a weighing unit for each type of aggregate to ensure that each type of aggregate is accurately weighed and then fed into the mixer one by one for mixing.
This weighing method is known for its high precision and can significantly improve the accuracy of concrete mix ratio.

3. Water, cement/fly ash, additive weighing system:
The water weighing system is used to accurately measure the amount of water required in the concrete production process. The system usually consists of a water tank, a water pump, a pipeline, a water weighing bucket and a control system. The water scale mainly uses the water pump pressure to release water, which can shorten the release time. There are generally two ways to measure water: volumetric and weighing, of which the weighing method is more accurate.
The weighing system for cement and fly ash is used to accurately measure these powdered materials. Cement and fly ash are usually stored in powder tanks, and the powder is fed into the weighing bucket for measurement through a screw conveyor. When there are multiple powders, cumulative weighing or individual weighing can be used. The powder metering device completes the weighing of the powder until the preset value of the powder is reached and then transfers it to the mixing device.
The additive weighing system is used to accurately measure liquid admixtures. Admixtures are usually stored in liquid storage tanks and accurately weighed by a metering device. The metering accuracy of additives has an important impact on the quality of concrete, so high-precision weighing equipment is usually used.

The mixing station flat belt drives the conveyor belt through a motor-driven roller to transport materials from one end to the other.
The bucket belt, also known as the bucket belt conveyor, is a belt conveyor with a bucket. The bucket belt conveyor combines the advantages of the flat belt conveyor and the lifting bucket, and realizes the lifting and transportation of materials by installing a bucket on the conveyor belt.
